Committees:

We are all fun loving and deeply committed to our mission. Committee members volunteer their time and typically take on a task and "own" that one task through completion then grab another, keeping volunteer involvement flexible and not too heavy for a minimum 1 hour a week commitment.  In addition, committees typically meet monthly for 1.5-2 hours at a time and date agreeable to the committee.  Calling in is available for those unable to make the meeting in person.

Administrative / IT - this committee will work closely with our operations team and apply their strong administrative skills for the management of event details, constituent management, scheduling and the like. Highly seeking individuals with database management skills, preference given to familiarity with Little Green Light.

Enrichment Program - this committee will assist in the delivery of our enrichment workshops designed for youth ages 4-11. Other areas of involvement within our enrichment offerings would be involvement with our seed grant program or summer camp offerings. Educator experience highly desired. CORI check required.

Development - this committee will manage sponsor relationships, ensure sponsor benefits are fulfilled, seek new sponsorships and grant opportunities. Experience grant writing or securing sponsorships highly desired.

Marketing/PR - this committee will work as a team to ensure a streamlined and consistent message is distributed about our work, engagement opportunities and impact. Experience writing press releases, monthly newsletter, creatively utilizing social media and other news outlets desired.

Volunteer Events - this committee will help plan, brainstorm new ideas and execute our volunteer offerings. Seeking community minded individuals. Brownie points for those with project management experience.

No experience required. While preference may be given to those with experience in order to strengthen our impact leveraging expertise, our team varies in experience level.
