Ever wonder how Urban Planning impacts city design and communities? Want to learn how to you can get involved in urban planning and help shape Philadelphia? Join Young Involved Philadelphia at SEIU Local 688 Union Hall for a panel discussion about modern Urban Planning in Philadelphia!

Come discuss with our panelists, including:

  • Julie Hancher, Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Green Philly
  • Camille Boggan, Program Associate for the National Association of City Transportation Officials
  • Eric Soloman, New Jersey EDA and LSE Urban Planning Graduate

Topics will include:

  • How can Urban Planning make a city more inclusive?
  • Discussion of large infrastructure projects, including capping 95, capping vine street, and the former Philadelphia Energy Solutions (PES) refinery.
