MEEA’s YEL membership is for those passionate about the environment, and concerned in particular with issues like climate change, environmental justice and equity, regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, and green careers. YEL is an action-oriented, youth-led group that advances MEEA’s mission using the voices and brilliance of our younger citizens.

There is also an option to add-on attendance at the "Conservation Day at the Capitol" in Jefferson City, hosted by the Conservation Federation of Missouri. That runs from 8am to 1 pm on April 3. MEEA will be providing your lunch for that! After lunch we will then convene the In-person Focus Group from 2-4 pm, also at the Capital.

The Virtual Focus Group will be on Zoom on EARTH DAY, April 22 from 7-8:30 pm. You will receive a zoom link about 1 week prior to the event.

The first 20 participants who register and attend the "Day at the Capital" events will receive a 1-year FREE MEEA membership (valued at $25.00) and a $25.00 Gas Card to help cover your travel cost!

Conservation Day at the Capitol

Would you also like to attend the Conservation Day at the Capitol? The event occurs from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. This could include: helping host the MEEA information table, networking with other Conservation professionals, accompanying MEEA staff to meet legislators and/or tour the capital. You do not have to attend the whole time, but if you DO attend we will order pizza for you so please let us know your intention!
