The Bridger Mountain Raptor Survey is in its 33nd year and is currently funded and managed by Sacajawea Audubon Society. The raptor monitoring program data is used to prepare an annual report covering raptor population trends. The report is submitted to he Custer/Gallatin National Forest and Hawkwatch International, and is available to our members.
Continuation of this monitoring program is critical to provide the data needed to assess population trends in Golden Eagles and other raptors. To help pay for the continuation of this program, Bridger Bowl Ski Area has donated 2 Season Passes (valued at $1,060 each).
Purchase a Bridger Raptor Project Raffle Ticket to help cover the costs of the Bridger Mountain Raptor Count! This raffle pays for approximately 1/4 of the project's $20,000 budget.
