Program Selection Definitions

PRIMARY CAMP - During morning hours, campers will follow the typical Montessori morning program using materials from the various curriculum areas in the room presented with an influence centered on the weekly camp topics. Children under age four staying during afternoon camp hours will use our napping program. Campers four and older who do not nap will continue in the classroom with an age-appropriate focus on a variety of structured arts, crafts, and outside activities as well as time for free play.

ELEMENTARY CAMP - During morning hours, campers will focus on the weekly camp topics. Afternoon campers will continue in the classroom with a special focus on structured arts, crafts, and outside activities as well as time for free play.

Camp Selection & Payment Details

Choose one or more camp weeks, up to all seven weeks. Select a time frame within each week that you would like your child to attend.

A $25 DEPOSIT is required for each week selected. Payment of the deposit is required to complete camp registration. No refund on deposits for cancellation after May 17,2024. All registrations received by April 24, 2024 will reflect a $5 discount in the balance due.

**No camp on June 19th in observance of the Juneteenth holiday or on July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. Please note reduced tuition for those weeks.

PAYMENT INFO FOR REMAINING BALANCE AFTER DEPOSIT: You will be invoiced by email about one week prior to each selected camp week for the balance due.

Week 1 - June 17-21 **No camp on Wednesday, June 19th!

BIRDS, BIRDS, BIRDS - Campers will learn about the secret life of birds and how birds exist on the planet we share with them!

Week 2 - June 24-28

ASTRONOMY EXPLORATION - What do we see when we look into the sky? Reach for the sparkling stars!

Week 3 - July 1-5 **No camp on Thursday, July 4th!

TREES ARE TERRIFIC - Trees help the planet and each of us. Trees are beautiful!

Week 4 - July 8-12

LET'S HEAR IT FOR HERPETOLOGY - Amphibians and reptiles include slithery creatures like snakes, funny little frogs, turtles, and lovely lizards!

Week 5 - July 15-19

MARVELOUS MAMMALS - Primates--they're almost like us! Carnivores eat meat. Bats fly at night, and some mammals live in the sea! Let's take a look at these animals called mammals!

Week 6 - July 22-26

SAFARI ADVENTURES - To the wilds of Africa we go! Monkeys in trees; zebras galloping; and, pythons slithering through the grass! Watch out!

Week 7 - July 29 - August 2

CULINARY CAMP - Campers learn basic cooking skills to start their very own kitchen adventures!

REMAINING CAMP BALANCE PAYMENT OPTION for currently enrolled MSW (school-year) families - If you have set up ACH access to your existing bank account, MSW can use ACH to pay camp balances.
