Writing From Real Life
Writers are observers, continually examining our lives and the lives of others. This workshop will focus on taking difficult circumstances/times when we as writers faced obstacles and challenges that as writers become the rich “raw material” for new work. By the end, you will have worked through a topic and be well on your way to writing about it (and others) in a thoughtful and critical way. The workshop will feature short readings, discussion, and in class writing exercises—you will leave both refreshed and inspired.
This workshop runs from 10am-5pm with a one-hour lunch break in the middle.
Writing From Real Life takes place Saturday 12/7 from 10am-5pm at Council Gardens (2501 N Taylor Rd, Cleveland, OH 44118).
