Come help the Salmon Center prepare for spring! We will be doing work at the Farm at Water's Edge and in our native plant nursery. On the farm, we will be preparing the U-Pick gardens for planting delicious veggies that will be available to the community come summer, and in the nursery we will be preparing for the end of the planting season. Volunteers can expect to assist with various tasks such as weeding, mulching, prepping beds to be planted, installing trellising, and heeling in native plants, such as snowberry.
Please dress for the weather, wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and wear close-toed shoes. Also please bring gloves if you have them!
