Donor-Advised Fund/IRA Charitable Distributions

Donor-Advised Funds (DAF) and Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) are a great way to provide support for the honorary committee, however these grants cannot cover the cost of any goods or services. The fair market value (FMV) of a ticket to the event has been calculated at $125, and the following chart reflects this out-of-pocket cost for tickets at a given level of support. Please plan to cover this FMV cost from a separate account if you are paying with either a DAF or IRA account.

CHAIR • $8,000 DAF/IRA: $6,750 FMV: $1,250

BENEFACTOR • $4,000 DAF/IRA: $3,250 FMV: $750

LEADER • $2,500 DAF/IRA: $2,000 FMV: $500

SUPPORTER • $1,250 DAF/IRA: $1,000 FMV: $250

FRIEND • $750 DAF/IRA: $500 FMV: $250

Contributions made to the LGLC are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
