Community Partner Application

Books Between Kids is a non-profit organization founded in 2012 to serve Houston's at risk children by providing them with books to build their own at home libraries. We receive donations of new and like-new books that we are able to distributed to community organizations providing family engagement or literacy programming to children in Harris County. Through these partners, we will provide new and like-new books to enhance and expand their programming and to build the at-home libraries for the children they serve.

In exhange for this service, please acknowledge Books Between Kids as a contributor and/or partner with your organization on your website or social media.

All distributions are subject to availability, and all books provided must go home with the children served by the agencies.

While we might not be able to accommodate every specific book need, we are interested to learn what our partners' specific needs are, and we will do our best to support those needs if we can.

Our volunteers will sort, box, and prepare the books to be distributed through partner programs, but we are unable, at this time, to deliver books. Would your agency be able to pick up the requested books from the BBK warehouse?
