Inside Book Publishing
An advanced, fast-moving talk for writers ready to submit their finished full-length manuscripts. Literary agent Erin Hosier and Publishing Expert Brandi Larsen share current industry insights to help writers put the finishing touches on their query letters and book proposals. Bring your polished pitch for feedback, if time. Best for writers interested in traditional trade publishing for full-length fiction and non-fiction projects aimed at adult readers.

Brandi Larsen is a writer, speaker, and coach building a more inclusive publishing landscape. Her work at Penguin Random House helped create NYT bestsellers and her journalism pieces earned Emmy nominations. Her talks about publishing, leadership, and grief inspire audiences from Zoom to Harvard. She serves as the board president for Literary Cleveland and writes books and essays. Uncultured is published by St. Martin's.

Erin Hosier has 20 years' experience as a literary agent and has been with Dunow Carlson & Lerner in NYC since 2007. She specializes in selling narrative nonfiction and select literary and upmarket fiction for adults. She is the author of the memoir DON'T LET ME DOWN (Atria, 2019), and co-author of Patty Schemel's HIT SO HARD (Da Capo, 2017). She is the co-creator of the podcast Tell Me About Your Father, and is a consultant for writers and non-writers looking for self-publishing alternatives.
