Movie, workshop and event donations pay for these activities, with any money raised above costs benefitting Colorado Farm & Food Alliance and Western Slope Conservation Center. We encourage you to RSVP. You can also make a donation now, or at the event.

Our activities are offered on a gift model. The movie and panel are offered in exchange for any donation with none required. Most of all, we welcome and appreciate your presense.

Weekend Schedule

SATURDAY MARCH 11

Paradise Theatre, 215 Grand Ave, Paonia

3 pm: Community Meet & Greet with author Ben Goldfarb, serving North Fork Valley fruit pies and locally roasted coffee. Donations & RSVP appreciated.

4 pm: Movie-The Beaver Believers, Movie followed by a panel discussion with author Ben Goldfarb, Nichole Fox with beaver advocacy organization Give a Dam, and an update from a beaver and wetland restoration project in Taylor Park. $10 suggested donation.

Paonia Books, 234 Grand Ave, Paonia

6:30 pm: Booksigning and Reception, with author of “Eager,” Ben Goldfarb featuring North Fork Valley appetizers, drinks, cider and wine. Benefitting the Colorado Farm & Food Alliance. RSVP required, $15 suggested donation, attendance is limited.

SUNDAY MARCH 12

Various Locations

9:30 am: Beaver Restoration Workshop with Elizabeth Agee-Colorado Farm & Food Alliance, Jake Hartter-Western Slope Conservation Center, and Nichole Fox-Give a Dam. Details TBA.$20 suggested donation. Please RSVP. 

4 pm: Western Slope Conservation Center Annual Meeting, Keynote by Ben Goldfarb. Shadescapes Americas, 122 Bridge St., Hotchkiss. For WSCC members: Become a Member Here or at the door.
