ANCA Committees serve to provide strategic guidance on specific facets of ANCA operations. Committees are made up of ANCA board members, staff, and members at-large; committee members are invited to serve for a minimum of one year. Read committee descriptions here.
Committee candidates will be shared with the appropriate Committee Chair.
The Board supports ANCA's work and provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by ANCA’s Executive Director and staff, the Board’s leadership is critical for those operations to succeed. Learn about Board member responsibilities here.
Board candidates are vetted and advanced to candidacy by the Governance Committee and invited to complete the ANCA Board Nomination Form. ANCA Board Members are nominated in classes or terms and there are typically positions to fill at the beginning of our fiscal year on July 1. Our goal has been to secure interested nominees to be part of a pool, and when there is a need to fill a position either through a resignation, or the end of a board member’s term, we will have a known group of interested persons for consideration and a list of criteria for each nominee. Completed forms will be forwarded to the ANCA Governance Committee.
