This next cleanup will definitely be our biggest so far. We will need lots of volunteers and some heavy equipment. It is out by Wittman on Arizona State Trust land. These pictures are but a few of the piles of trash we need to get out of there.

We need 80 to 100 people on this one. We need some people with heavy equipment like front loaders to help with the large items.

To reach our kick off/volunteer registraion area from Phoenix take Grand Ave/Hwy 60 west . Stay on Grand Ave until the junction of Grand Ave/Hwy 60 and Hwy303, continue on Grand ave 5.3 miles to Patton rd. Turn left on Patton Rd, crossing the highway. On the right side of the road is dirt pullout area. That is where we meet. There will be signs at entrance of parking lot.

Please wear pants and boots (or at a minimum closed toed shoes) along with perferably long sleeves, reusable water bottle, and hat/sun screen for sun protection. Reminder you will be in the desert environment which will have stickers, bugs, and other natural species so it is imporant to dress appropriately. Gloves, safety vests, tools, and water will be provided.

*Volunteer waivers will be provided on site and will be required to complete before volunteering. Volunteers under 18 will need a parent or guardian's signature, pleaes let us know ahead of time if you need a copy of the youth waiver prior to the event.
