This is a crucial year given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in organizations such as ours. For this season, although we will have similar production costs for the concert series, we decided to present them free of admission charge. Becoming a member of Marlow Guitar International is a great way to help us not only with the costs of our concert series but it will also help us fulfill our mission of building community through music. You know how it feels to be bowled over by a fabulous performance – one that makes you think about the classical guitar and its possibilities in a new way. Our other programs will be virtual this season and still be reaching out for people – especially young people – who have never heard classical guitar music. If a few of those kids are inspired to learn more about our music, and perhaps make it their own by learning to play the guitar, wouldn’t that make the world a better place, at least in a small way?
