Imagine spending a few weeks in a tranquil setting with free (or low cost) room and board, unlimited time to write, and the chance to interact with other writers from all over the world. While this might sound too good to be true, it could become your reality at a writing residency. In this workshop, you’ll learn how residencies work, what they offer, how to apply, and how to increase your chance of receiving an acceptance. The presenters have attended six residencies between them, including some of the most recognized and celebrated in the country, and will share their residency experiences, insights, and tips.
