This historic 53-acre site runs above and parallel to the the Little River, a waterway that was used as a main transportation pathway for Haverhill's indigenous people. Extensive pine groves provide great habitat for vocal birds that call this area home. Daniel Speers, Chairperson of Haverhill's Native American Task Force and the city's Poet Laureate, will recite a poem in honor of Indigenous Peoples' Day before we proceed on this 1.5 mile hike.

Please park adjacent to the ball field (not at the small disc golf parking area), which is just past the American Legion, before the NH border.
