Jewish Matryoshka Project invites Russian-Speaking Jewish families to a Chess Series for the Entire Family!

4 CLASSES on Wednesdays
October 28, November 4, 11 & 18 at 6:00PM

And CHESS TOURNAMENT on Sunday
November 22 at 4:30 PM

LESSON SESSIONS ARE LIMITED TO 12 FAMILIES
Sessions + Tournament will be on Zoom!

The popular game of chess is played world-wide by millions of people!

During the four sessions, children ages 5 to 10, will learn how to play chess with Leonid Zhuravel. He will teach them about the different chess pieces and how they are used, as well as tell them about great Jewish chess players. There will be a total of 4 sessions, approximately 45 minutes per session.

The fifth session will be a Chess Tournament for kids and adults. For the kids portion, the goal will be to learn how to play chess against the opponent. This will be an educational and friendly competition. The adults will have a chance to play against Leonid through chess.com.

Cost:
$20 - per family for 4 sessions
$25 - per family for 4 sessions and tournament
$10 - per family, tournament only

Leonid Zhuravel has great experiences playing in chess competitions and training students to play chess.  He even played in a professional competition with world chess champion Anatoly Karpov.

Winners  (adults and children) of the tournament will receive great prizes.
