2024 DAC Camps

Thank you for your interest in Denmark Arts Center 2024 Camps. All Kids Camps will be held at Denmark Arts Center (DAC). We are delighted to have your camper(s) join us this summer.

Kids Camps will go across the street to Bicentennial Park for their breaks so bring appropriate clothing, water, snacks, lunch, and a healthy appetite for fun!

Kids Art Camp-Beginners July 1-3 10am-2pm ages 7-10

Art at its Most FUN - This week students will have the opportunity to grow their skills and learn techniques with various mediums. This class is geared toward artists who want to explore their creativity. Instructor: Olivia Benish Camp is July 1-3, 10 am to 2pm. Campers will have their own art show on the last day of camp.

Kids Art Camp-Illustrating Your Original Characters July 9-12 10-2pm ages: 11+

Come join local artist and teacher Olivia Benish-Chaffee for a fun and exploratory camp of illustrating characters! Students will experiment with various techniques for illustrating your own characters. Campers will have their own art show on the last day of camp.

Musical Theatre Camp w/Mary Bastoni July 22-26, 10am-2pm ages: 7+

Kids Musical Theater Camp-July 22-26, 10am-2pm ages: 7+

This week-long intensive theater camp will focus on the production of a fully-staged show with music. Remember to bring snacks, a drink, and lunch. Our Musical Theater Camp will perform their show on Saturday, July 27, at 1pm campers arrive at 9am. The performance will be open to the public.

PreK+ Little Roots-Ready, Set, GO July 30-August 1 10-11:30am ages: 3-6

317 Main Teaching Artist will provide three days of “Little Roots” music and art explorating and fostering multi-sensory and social emotional learning. This is a parent and child experience, and parents are encouraged to attend. Parents and caregivers engage in simple songs, rhythms, rhymes, and movement activities. Musical instruments are incorporated to create a playful experience while working with beats and tempo. Children will develop their singing voices, move to music, play rhythm instruments, learn singing games, and develop a love of music while also becoming independent.
