Thank you for your interest in volunteering with North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic (NSLAC). We are partnering with Highwood Public Library to bring naturalization screenings to their citizenship preparation class students. We are looking for attorneys to help screen clients for naturalization eligiblity, on the following day:
Saturday, October 26 from 10am - 12pm
The clinic will be located at Highwood Public Library, 102 Highwood Ave, Highwood, IL 60040. We ask that volunteers arrive by 9:45am.
You will not need prior experience with immigration law or naturalization. A training video is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1F5GULYCrR0. This video is eligible for 90-minutes of IL CLE credit—attorneys just need to fill out the form in the Description box and a certificate will be issued to you in a few weeks.
