Challah for Hunger Board 2023 Application

What is Challah for Hunger?

Challah for Hunger brings people together from across campus to bake and sell challah in an effort to raise money and awareness for hunger in our own community. Every other week, our volunteers bake and then braid the challahs. We then sell them on campus to spread our love of challahs to the rest of the Michigan community! We donate 50% of our proceeds to the Maize & Blue Cupboard on campus. As part of the larger movement of Challah for Hunger/Nazun Nationals, we donate the other 50% of our proceeds to Swipe Out Hunger. Baking and selling the challah are both great opportunities to make new friends and socialize while helping a good cause!
