VOLUNTEER 2025 Social Groups - Winter 3G

If you're new to Jacob's Chance, welcome! We're so glad you're interested in volunteering. No prior experience is required to volunteer! We welcome volunteers 12 and up.

If you are 18+ and have not yet completed a background check with Jacob's Chance, you will be required to complete one before you begin volunteering. Please contact us at programs@jacobschance.org to begin the process!

Winter 3G Social Group - Guys, Gals, & Games

Registration open through January 1st, or until at capacity

3G is a weekly social group focused on providing opportunities for socializing, relationship building, and disability acceptance. We come together each week to play card games, board games, build Legos, draw, color, or just hang out!

Volunteers will assist participants throughout the program as needed, providing opportunities for socializing, playing games and making sure they have the BEST time! Be sure to bring your game face!

Dates: Wednesdays, January 15th- March 5th (8 weeks)

Time: 5-6pm

Volunteer Time Commitment: 4:45-6:00pm

Location: Belmont Recreation Center (1600 Hilliard Rd, Richmond, VA 23228)

Participant Ages: 13-40

Volunteer Ages: 12+
