Helping Families Focus on Abilities, Not Disabilities

Each donation will take us a step closer to reaching our goals for the year. Our goals for this year are to continue supporting families by providing financial assistance when needed, create additional programming opportunies, expand programs to reach a wider geographic range, and reach families in parts of the community that are underserved.

Jacob's Chance enriches lives by empowering individuals 5-40 years old with intellectual, developmental, physical, and/or complex disabilities through inclusive programs that promote personal development and positive relationships. 

Our programs are not restricted by a diagnosis or ability level. We provide an opportunity for anyone to participate even if they can't afford the minimal registration fees. Your donation makes this possible by contributing to offsetting the cost of the following programs:

- Athletics: Baseball, tennis, soccer, flag football, basketball, intramural sports, and Taekwondo

- Enrichment: Music, Art, STEM, Wonders of Wildlife, Photography, Mindful Movement, Helping Hands, and more

- Fitness: Inclusive Fitness & Health with VCU

- Social Clubs: Teen Scene, Young Adult Hangout, and 3G - Guys, Gals, and Games

- Adventures: Rock wall climbing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, archery

- Family Events: Spring Family Fest, Fall Family Fest, Merry Mall, and more

- Summer Camps: Sports Camp, Arts Camp, Adventure Camp, Culinary Arts Camp, Outdoor Camp, and Surf Camp
