Bernice Lerner is the author of All the Horrors of War, the remarkable story of her mother’s liberation from Bergen-Belsen.

BERNICE LERNER holds a doctorate from Boston University, where she has taught courses including “Resistance During the Holocaust.” She has also served as director of Boston University’s Center for the Advancement of Ethics and Character (now the Center for Character and Social Responsibility). She has also worked at Hebrew College, most recently as dean of adult learning. She lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
