Stay connected for life! Becoming a Registered Alumni is a great way to maintain a life-long connection to the Governor’s School and your fellow alumni. Registered Alumni engage in a special Facebook group sharing memories, discussion, and opportunities. Also, you must be a Registered Alumni to attend Alumni Days and other alumni events on either Governor’s School campus. Best of all, your donation goes towards supporting the work of the Governor’s School Foundation as we provide scholarships to financially needy students and enhancement grants to each campus. A one-time registration fee of just $20 (or more if you can) will entitle you to lifetime benefits as a Registered Alumni, AND it's tax deductible.
Not sure if you’re already registered? The best way to find out is to check the NCGS online alumni database. If you previously joined the NC Governor’s Alumni Association (which was folded into the NC Governor’s School Foundation in 2020), you are automatically a Registered Alumni without any further donation or action required. We realize that some of the data on the report may be incomplete, especially if you attended Governor’s School prior to 1998. If you have attended a reunion or an Alumni Day, you should have paid at that time and already be a Registered Alumni.
