Adult Volunteer Application

Apply to join the Shirts Across America (SAA) Immersion Trips to New Orleans, Louisiana (NOLA) as an Adult Team Lead! During this 2015-16 school year, SAA will be building homes in the Gulf Coast area and may also help to restore the natural environment. We will once again partner with the non-profit organization, St. Bernard Project (SBP), whom have built 600+ homes along the Gulf Coast since Hurricane Katrina hit 10 years ago.

All adult applicants are asked to focus their attention on the safety of the students they oversee. SAA does run a complete background check on prospective Adult Team Leads prior to the trip. Our goal is to create a safe and dynamic experience for everyone involved before, during, and after our trip to NOLA.

As an Adult Team Lead you will:
* be responsible for 5-6 high school students throughout the trip
* drive a van to assist in getting your team to the job site and other activities we have planned
* build homes alongside your high school team
* experience and learn about New Orleans culture firsthand!

Your guidance and positive energy will help these students learn about themselves and the people of NOLA. Space is limited, so apply today!

Please submit this application to show your interest by 11:59 pm (PST) on Monday, November 16, 2015.
