Introduction to Nature Journaling

Nature Journaling Oyster pic2.jpg

Join nature journaling teacher, Elaine Bergstrom in reconnecting with nature through sketching and recording observations and curiosities. Learn the techniques of nature journaling with some easy method metadata and art techniques. To get started, nature journaling gets us to wonder and ask questions as we document what we see before us. This opportunity is a chance to slow down and to draw and note any piece of nature with pictures words and numbers.

This event will be held indoors and outdoors (weather permitting). Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Please bring a sketchbook and twin tip black Sharpie. We will provide portable chairs, but feel free to bring your own.

Meet at the GTM Research Reserve’s Visitor Center (505 Guana River Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082) from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
