CHAP Inclusive Summer Art Workshops are Back!

Join in the fun! At CHAP, we provide space for children of all abilities to experiment together with a variety of projects and mediums. Children will learn from talented guest artists and CHAP staff with diverse expertise. Each workshop is $160/child.

This year, choose between in-person and virtual 4-day workshops. There's something for everyone!

For in-person days: To ensure the safety of the children and families we serve, hands are sanitized upon arrival and throughout the workshop. All staff and volunteers interacting at workshops with children are fully vaccinated. Activities will be held outside when the weather and the projects allow.

For virtual days: Workshops will be held via Zoom with frequent screen breaks. Art-makers will have plenty of support from guest artists and CHAP staff if/when they need assistance in our virtual sessions. Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies and do their own projects. A Workshop Box will be hand-delivered to your child's home prior to each session, full of the art supplies he or she will need to participate in the projects.

Variety is the spice of life! Your child gets to try out a series of new art projects. All supplies are pre-delivered to your home so participants must live in the Portland-metro area.

Virtual via Zoom: Tuesday, 7/26/22 through Friday, 7/29/22 from 10:00am to noon

Art in Motion

Together, we’ll use movement to create art. Projects may include things like kinetic sculptures, hanging mobiles, using your feet/body to make art, kite-making, and more.

In-Person Workshop: Tuesday, 8/2/22 through Friday, 8/5/22 from 10:00am to 1:00pm

Cancellation Policy

If parents/guardians need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. A full refund, minus a $20 administrative fee, can be made if parents/guardians notify CHAP at least 7 days before selected workshop date. There are no refunds for unattended days.
