This training is designed for tenants, tenant advocates and other interested parties. Training will cover common issues, misgivings and misbehaviors that tenants encounter. HCCI will offer an overview of the Kansas Residential Landlord/Tenant Act as it pertains to tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities. Fair Housing will also be covered and include: screening; protected classes; discrimination; service and therapy animals; reasonable accommodations; advertising; and documentation.
