 2020 Snow NYC Winter Core Program

Payment:

Chill FAQs:

Step 1: PROGRAM DETAILS

Chill will offer two sessions, running one day per week per session over six weeks.

  • Session 1 (Bronx) will take place on Tuesdays from 2:30 P.M. to 9:30 P.M., with the dates/meet-up location below.
  • Session 2 (Brooklyn) will take place on Wednesdays from 2:15 P.M. to 9:45 P.M., with the dates/meet-up location below.

Program will operate at Mountain Creek Resort (200 State Rt 94, Vernon, NJ 07462) arriving at 4:30 P.M. and participating until approximately 7:15 P.M.

 

Deadlines:

  • Application deadline: Wednesday, November 13, 2019
  • Youth/Agency Lead Paperwork Due: Wednesday, December 18, 2019
  • Agency Lead/On-Call Agency Lead & Program Mentor Orientation: Tuesday, November 19, 2019

Step 4: YOUTH SELECTION

  • Youth must be 10-18 years old as of first day of program
  • Chill strives for gender equity within our programs! We strongly encourage you to recruit youth from gender minorities (ie. female, non-binary, etc.) to fill a minimum of half your agency spots

Step 5: AGENCY LEAD SELECTION

  • Agency Lead & On-Call Agency Lead Eligibility & Requirements - click to see full list
  • Agency leads are responsible for their youth and required to participate alongside youth for all boardsports, regardless of prior experience. Chill provides gear and instruction to participate. Boardsport use only (no scooters, skis, kayaks, etc.)
  • On-Call Agency Leads will be utilized to fill in if the Agency Lead cannot attend program and in the event of an emergency to help with transportation and/or youth supervision. Must be available by phone during program time frame.

Step 6: FINISH & PAY

Chill’s application fee confirms your agency’s commitment to participating in this program. Chill will commit time, money, and resources to providing a high quality experience for your youth. Chill covers all other costs associated with mountain transportation, instruction, gear, and lift tickets for youth and agency leads to participate at absolutely no additional fee.
