Led by naturalist Peter Trull.
Join field naturalist and author Peter Trull for a birding field class at Bell's Neck Conservation Lands. November is the month of new arrivals – gone are the songbirds of summer as the migratory flocks of tree swallows and many others have moved on. Now we look to the sparkling West Reservoir for waterfowl and raptors. Ducks, loons, grebes, hawks, and eagles soar in on the brisk autumn wind.
Immerse yourself into the life of birds by learning about species identification, unique adaptations, and behaviors. All birding interest and experience levels welcome! Please bring binoculars.
