Join the Kent Historical Museum as we explore some of the historic people, businesses, and events that left a mark on our Historic downtown over the years.
Tours will start and end at 2nd Ave and Meeker St in downtown Kent. Tours are about 1 hour long, and is about 1/2 mile walking distance. The tour is wheelchair accessible but does not include stops with seating.
We encourage participants to stop before or after the tour to visit some of our amazing local businesses who are adding to the storied history of our downtown neighborhood!
The historic dowtown tours are conducted in memory of Eric Reitan (1939 - 2024), Kent's longtime local resident historian who led our walking tours for many years.
