Join us Sunday morning, May 26th from 9:00 -12:00, on a visit to Avalonia’s recently acquired Glemboski-Ous Preserve in Bozrah/Montville and be a part of our initial efforts at managing this beautiful nearly 160-acre preserve! Whether you are new to Avalonia or a longtime volunteer this will be chance to get acquainted with (or reacquainted with) some of the basics of preserve stewardship to include trail maintenance, boundary posting, invasive plant identification and removal techniques, and general preserve monitoring. This is meant to be a very informal introduction combined with some light work. Equally important, it will be a time to meet new people and, hopefully, an opportunity to learn from and share with our new neighbors.
