Alexandra's Playground is committed to bringing safe and active play into the daily lives of children, especially those growing up in underserved communities. Together we can build more community playgrounds, and fund programs that support safe play.
We were founded in 2009 in memory of our co-founders young daughter, Alexandra Vitale, and are dedicated to positively impacting the world as we know she would have. With a focus on the NY-NJ-CT tristate, we have also donated playgrounds across the US, in Haiti, and in Afghanistan. An Alexandra's Playground typically culminates in a community build, bringing families and neighborhoods together.
