Audition Upload

No audition is required to participate in Summer Symphony, but we refer to audition recordings in order to place and seat musicians in our two Summer Symphony orchestras. You may record your audition on a phone or other recording device. (The "Voice Memos" app on iOS is a good way to do this.) For your audition, please play ascending and descending D and G major scales (in as many octaves as you feel comfortable) and a short piece of music—either something you've played in school or NOYO or something from your lessons. The audition recording should be uploaded in any widely recognizable file format (.m4a, .mp3, etc.). If you have difficulty uploading your audition recording, you may instead email it to cholter@noyo.org. If you do not upload or email a recorded audition, you'll be placed and seated at the directors' discretion.
