In fall 2017, we honored Doug Tompkins with On Beauty, a photography exhibition & book.
The project revealed how pursuing beauty was an animating force in Doug’s life—culminating in Chile's creation of 11M acres of national parks. Featuring images of land the Tompkins Conservation helped protect, it explores how our health is inextricably linked to the beauty & diversity of ecosystems & the people who steward them.
