2023 DAC Camps

Thank you for your interest in Denmark Arts Center 2023 Camps. 2023 Kids Camps will be held in Denmark Arts Center (DAC). Exception is Hoop Dance Camp, which will be in Bicentennial Park. DAC follows CDC guidelines.

Kids Camps will go across the street to Bicentennial Park for their breaks so bring appropriate clothing, water, snacks, lunch, and a healthy appetite for fun!

Art Camp-Advanced ages 11+

This week students will have the opportunity to grow their skills and learn techniques with various mediums. This class is geared toward artists who are looking to improve their skills and fuel their creative passion. Instructor: Olivia Benish Camp is June 27-30, 10 am to 2pm

Kids Art Camp-Beginners July 5-7 10-2pm ages: 7-10

July 5-7 10-2pm Come join local artist and teacher Ms. Benish for a fun and exploratory week of art-making! Students will experiment with various materials from painting to sculpture and ideas to create multiple works of art to bring home.  

Kids Hoop Dance ages 8+

Kids Hoop Dance Camp-ages: 8+

July 12-14, 10-1pm What will Hoop Dance camp be like? Circus hula hooper and dance instructor Nettie Gentempo, will teach campers how to make their very own hula hoop and work with campers on hoop tricks and choreography throughout the week. You will make your own hula hoop to take home. Saturday your will share camp hula hoop piece 10am on Saturday July 15 in Bicentennial Park with Neveah Dance Circus. 

Musical Theatre Camp w/Mary Bastoni

Kids Musical Theater Camp-ages: 7+

July 24-28, 10-2pm This week-long intensive theater camp will focus on the production of a fully-staged show with music. Remember to bring snacks, a drink, and lunch. Our Musical Theater Camp will perform their show on Saturday, July 29, at 1pm. The performance will be open to the public.
