One moment please...

Start to Finish: A Single Poem

In this generative workshop, each author will see one poem through from start to finish. In lieu of a more traditional workshop format, everyone will share their work at every stage, posing questions whose answers might help them with their individual processes and practices. Together, we will look closely and pragmatically at methods of generation, drafting, organization, design, revision, and editing. Discussion will be geared towards specific and practical elements of putting together a single poem.

Instructor: Jon Conley is a poet and musician from Cleveland where he is receiving his MFA from Cleveland State University. His work can be found or is forthcoming with Dream Pop, Annulet, Maudlin House, The Hunger, FIVE:2:ONE, Bad Nudes, X-R-A-Y, and others. Find him online at conjonley.tumblr.com and on Instagram @beachstav.

Details: Start to Finish: A Single Poem takes place Tuesdays November 1, 8, 15, and 22 from 6:30-8:30pm remotely through Zoom.
