Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in a MOSS scholarship! Through the support of our generous donors, we offer need-based scholarships to participants hoping to experience nature with MOSS.

Please use the form below to submit a scholarship or payment plan request for school year and adult programs taking place September - May, including PIR Day Camps, Homeschool Science, and Adult Programs (Master Naturalist Program). If you're a school requesting a visit, please email miversen@outdoorscience.org.

Scholarship details:

Please complete this form for each scholarship request. I.E. if you have two children to request scholarships for, complete the form once for each child.
Award notifications are sent within 10 days of application submission.
Award notifications are sent to the email used in this scholarship application.
If awarded, the participant still needs to register for the program or camp. Next steps on registartion will be included in the award email.
If awarded, to remain eligible for future scholarships, you will be required to complete a post program survey.
All identifying information provided in this application is confidential.
Applications are accepted from parents, guardians, or non-family members such as teachers or social workers.

Limitations: Scholarship funds are limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Additionally:

Each participant is eligibile to apply for up to one full scholarship each school year (September - May).
Multiple partial scholarship requests per participant may total up to the value of one full scholarship each school year (September - May).
Recipient of school-year scholarships are eligible to apply for summer program scholarships.

Payment Plans:

Administrative fees apply.
Your payment plan must be paid in full one month before the program starts.
