How it works:

A few days ahead of the first meeting you will receive a packet in the mail filled with important information and tools necessary for full participation in these activities. You will receive a Silva Starter Compass (retail value $18.00), printed activity worksheets and color maps, a sticker, pin, and postcards.

We will meet three times each week via a scheduled zoom meeting led by one of our course directors. Meetings will last approximately 30 - 60 minutes. After the meeting participants will have specific instructions and materials to get outside on a self led adventure in the backyard or local green space exploring characteristics unique to your area. Each meeting will follow a similar format with participants reporting back next time to share their observations, data sets and to get their next assignment.

You will receive an invitation to the scheduled zoom meeting. Explorers (ages 6-9 will meet at 9am), Trekkers (ages 10-13 will be meet at 10am)
