Register for WOC's 48th Anniversary Gala

Join us on Friday, November 17th at 7pm (ET) for our opening event with Sr. Joan Sobala, SSJ; Jane Varner Malhotra; Sr. Mary McGlone, CSJ; and Notre Dame doctoral student Amirah Orozco. We'll take a "WOC" down memory lane, share stories from our early years, and celebrate the wisdom our WOC ancestors. After a time to toast and connect with one another, the gala auction will officially open!

Saturday, November 18th the gala will be in full swing! We invite you to join us for these panel discussions (live!):

• Synodality on the Move: Theological Reflections on the Call of Justice: On Saturday, November 18th at Noon (ET), we will host adiscussion with theologians Flora X. Tang and Dr. Valerie Lewis-Mosleyreflecting on the challenges of synodality in the face of injustice. This panel will be moderated by WOC board member, Clare Kemmerer, with a Q&A to follow.
• Women of the Synod! Saturday, November 18th at 3pm (ET): This discussion will feature three global women who took part in the synod in Rome: Helena Jeppesen-Spuhler, Sheila Pires, and Sr. Filo Hirota. Q&A to follow.
• All day! We'll be sharing video messages from WOC friends including: Ruby Almeida; Emily Reimer-Barry; Fr. Greg Boyle; Lizzie Berne DeGear; Shannon Evans; Luigi Giola; Jamie Manson; Bernadette Raspante; Anne Soupa, and more!

Sunday, November 19th at 11 am ET we invite you to our closing liturgy celebrating our movement towards a “horizon of hope,” with Dianne Willman, RCWP and Teresa Casillas Fiori co-presiding; Leslye Colvin preaching and music provided by Jessica Gerhardt. Whether you have been a part of our feminist liturgies since the beginning, or would like to participate in one for the first time, you are welcome and your presence enriches our gathering.

The gala events are all free and open to all, but registration is required for the live events and liturgy. Please fill out the registration form and plan to join us for one or all of our events!
