Members Survey 2023

Thanks for taking the 350 Sacramento Member Survey! You are making an important contribution to the local climate movement. Please be as detailed as possible in your responses. It should take about 5 minutes!

Contact Information

Please list your contact information. We use your address to determine your elected officials at state and local levels for when we need to take action.

Labor

Our next couple of questions are about labor and unions. Solving the climate crisis requires the strength of the labor movement and will greatly benefit working people. We are hoping to build stronger partnerships with labor, like we are starting to do around our push for electrification ordinances.

Please include local.

Volunteering

We have big goals that we can only accomplish with the help of volunteers like you!

We've already had two huge wins in 2021!

In April, after years of dedicated advocacy by 350 Sacramento volunteers and partners, SMUD approved their 2030 Carbon Zero Plan. This is the most ambitious plan of this kind by any large utility in the nation, and will result in closing two gas-fired power plants!

On June 1st, after a campaign spearheading the Mayors' Commission on Climate Change's Year 1 priorities, the Sacramento City Council approved an ordinance requiring Electrification of all new construction!

In the last year we hired our first staff, helped pass climate emergency resolutions in the city, county, and SMUD, and develop strong recommendations from the Mayors' Climate Commission.

And there's lots more work to do! We started our Student Environmental Activist Training program and already have almost 100 students signed up, we want to hire more staff, and we are working closely with the local governments on climate initiatives. We need help from our dedicated community members, like yourself, to continue doing this work.

Fundraising

The majority of our funding comes from community members like you.

Almost Done!

Our grant funders often want to know more about the demographics of our membership. Any such information you're willing to share with us could improve our chances of winning grants. Providing this information is totally optional, of course.
