Selective Mutism 101: Symptoms and Solutions

Wednesday, February 23 | 8-9 pm | On Zoom

Ongoing series of discussions on resources for families with a child with special needs.

Dr. Miller will speak about selective mutism, a severe anxiety disorder which causes an inability to speak in certain social situations. Dr. Miller will provide an overview of the signs and symptoms as well as common treatment.

Dr. Alison Miller is a Licensed Psychologist and has served on the Board of Directors for the Selective Mutism Association. She speaks to audiences both locally and nationally regarding selective mutism and anxiety disorders in general.
