One moment please...

The Joyful Battle of Lights started with one family using their holiday light display to collect donations for Worthdays, and now light displays across the area have joined in for the past 2 years! Worthdays brings joy year-round to children in foster care, and your holiday lights can help make that possible.

If you love decorating and want to raise money for a great cause in a very simple way, here’s how to get involved:

  • We’ll provide a yard sign with a QR code linked to your fundraising page. Place it near your lights, and visitors can donate by scanning the code.

  • You’ll also receive custom social media graphics to promote your display online, too, if that is of interest to you!

  • Check out the interactive website where teams can track their progress in real-time and see who’s leading the battle for the most donations! Here is the link to the 2022 + 2023 Joyful Battle of Lights!

  • Feel free to get creative, but no expectation to do so! One family added their QR code to Christmas card envelopes, another hosted a raffle at work to boost their fundraising total, another brought their QR code to a neighborhood gathering and another dressed up in an inflateable Gingerbread person costume and invited friends over for holiday treats!
