ZeroToGo Reusable Takeout Registration

Welcome to the ZeroToGo registration system.

Those who register for this program will be able to order food in reusable/returnable stainless-steel takeout containers from Royal India Bistro restaurant during a summer pilot session from Monday, July 10 - Friday, September 1. You must register by the Saturday prior to be included on the registration list at the restaurant for the following Monday, e.g., you must register by July 15, to begin ZeroToGo ordering on July 17.

The ZeroToGo pilot program, in partnership with USEFULL, was made possible by generous financial support from the Community Endowment of Lexington, Enterprise Bank, and LexZeroWaste members.

To register for ZeroToGo:

1. Complete the Participant Information Section.

2. Review and e-sign the ZeroToGo Pilot Participant User Agreement.

3. Follow instructions that you will receive after registration to make takeout/delivery orders in reusable containers!

Pilot Participant User Agreement

ZeroToGo is a pilot program for reusable takeout intended to significantly reduce the use of single-use plastic containers. We do not have reusable containers for small condiments or bread. Recyclable aluminum foil may be used for bread in your order, but small condiments may be packaged in single use containers.

ZeroToGo is a partnership between LexZeroWaste and USEFULL, who is providing the software to manage the tracking of reusable containers as they are received from and returned to our participating restaurant, Royal India Bistro. Funding for ZeroToGo is generously provided by the Community Endowment of Lexington, Enterprise Bank, and LexZeroWaste members.

To participate in ZeroToGo, you must register and have access to a Smartphone with a camera and be willing to download and use an app provided by USEFULL.

You must agree to the USEFULL app user agreement and you must be willing to enter your credit card information into the USEFULL app to handle charges for containers not returned within the agreed period of time.

Please read each of the statements below as they are presented to you, and check each box to indicate your agreement and continue.

1. USEFULL app

I affirm that I own a smartphone with a camera, and I agree to download, install and use the USEFULL app as part of my participation in the ZeroToGo pilot program.

2. USEFULL app User Agreement

I understand and agree that I will be bound by the terms of the USEFULL app user agreement and privacy policy.

3. Return Containers within 7 days

For the success of the pilot program, I understand that it is important to return clean reusable/returnable containers as soon as possible, but at least within 7 days of my order.

I understand and agree to the above.

4. Personal Information

I understand and agree that LexZeroWaste is not responsible for any personal data or credit card information that I provide in connection with my use of the USEFULL app because LexZeroWaste does not have access to that information.

5. Hold LexZeroWaste Harmless

I will indemnify and hold harmless LexZeroWaste for any suit, claim, demand, judgment, cause of action or award of damages arising out of or in connection with any claim made by me against USEFULL.

6. Stainless Steel Containers

I understand that the reusable/returnable containers are single-walled stainless steel containers with silicone lids and that the stainless steel containers may feel hot to the touch when filled with hot foods; I agree to exercise caution and use common sense when handling hot foods in the stainless steel containers.

I understand and agree to the above.

7. No Warranty

The program containers are provided as is without any warranty of any kind, and LexZeroWaste hereby disclaims all warranties (express, implied, statutory or otherwise) related to the program containers or any matter relating to the ZeroToGo program of this agreement, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose.

8. Liabilities

LexZeroWaste and Royal India Bistro will not be liable to me for any Indirect, Punitive, Incidental, Reliance, Special, Exemplary, or Consequential damages arising out of or related to this agreement or the ZeroToGo program.

9. Responsibilities

LexZeroWaste and USEFULL are not responsible for the food provided by the pilot restaurant Royal India Bistro, and I agree that I will not make any claims against LexZeroWaste and USEFULL relating to the food.

10. No extra utensils or condiments provided

I understand that by default my ZeroToGo orders will not include single-use utensils and factory pre-packaged condiments.

11. I agree to order from Royal India Bistro during the pilot period and agree to take all of the following actions:

PLEASE READ AND CHECK EACH ITEM BELOW TO CONFIRM YOUR AGREEMENT

Use the USEFULL app on my smartphone to scan the QR code on each reusable/returnable container when I unpack my takeout order and again when I return the clean containers to the restaurant.

CLEAN AND RETURN all containers and lids to the restaurant within 7 days of my order. If I do not return them within 7 days, I understand that I will be charged for late fees per the credit card information provided in the USEFULL app.

If I do not return them within 14 days, I understand that I will be charged for the cost of the containers per the credit card information provided in the USEFULL app.
