Making Meaningful Poem Inspired by Living Poets

Join us in for making meaningful poems in this essential class that meets twice weekly. Together we will close-read poems by contemporary masters, spend time creating our own new poems, and receive feedback on our work. With time and attention we can transform a good poem into something great.

Instructor: Eric Odum is a queer, latin poet, brother and friend who enjoys pushing the boundaries of conventional education and is a strong advocate in acknowledging the past as frame work for developing new classics. Eric is the Education and Program Director for One Mic Open, with Twelve Literary Arts.

Details: Making Meaningful Poems Inspired by Living Poets with Eric Odum takes place Mondays and Wednesdays October 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, & 28 from 6:00-7:30pm remotely through Zoom. Register and we will send along information about how to connect via Zoom.
