This piece showcases the intricate connection between land, sea, and humans within Oregon's estuaries.

Sarah's art beautifully highlights the vital habitats of coho salmon, Dungeness crabs, cockle clams, and the threatened Olympia oysters in these coastal ecosystems. 

Beyond wildlife, estuaries provide jobs in fishing and aquaculture. They also offer recreational opportunities, connecting people with nature.
