These are not requirements, but help us to determine what is needed to provide Audio Description services.
Dedicated Audio Description equipment (transmitter, headsets, microphones or other devices or software)
Assigned location for audio describer, with unobstructed view of performance
Table and dedicated space outside performance space for listeners to pick up headsets
Staff to assist in distributing headsets (Listener Liaison)
Staff to offer live audio description of your event
Opportunities to announce that Audio Description is available at event (e.g. in welcome comments, curtain speech, or pre-show announcements)
