Are you willing and able to install a text messaging application on your home computer and mobile phone to interact with board members as needed, potentially on a daily basis?
FYI: We use SLACK and will train you on this tool. The messages are mostly informative text messages between the executive committee members. Reading these messages allows you to stay on top of the issues of the day. There may be occasional "Board Votes on Slack" requiring you to review and vote on topics that cannot wait until the next board meeting.
