In honor of the late Phillip Street -- board member, legal counsel, and long-time friend of Georgia CORE – its Board of Directors has created the Phillip H. Street Cancer Community Service Award. Given annually by the board, the award will recognize an individual or partnership that has contributed exceptional service to Georgia’s cancer community. Awardees will exemplify Phillip’s spirit of giving his professional expertise, financial support, and personal time to advance cancer research and care in Georgia.
The winner will receive $5,000 and may choose whether to accept the funds for personal use or donate the proceeds to a charity or charities of their choice. The inaugural award will be given February 18, 2023 at Georgia CORE’s 20th Anniversary Gala.
