The Arizona Elk Society partners with AZGFD to host a Youth Elk Camp. It is for Unit 6A and 5BS. The camp is located at St. Joseph's Youth Camp near Mormon Lake. AES provides scouting tips, meat care instructions, a safety lesson, game retrieval and mentoring for the kids. We also provide all meals for the weekend for attendees and volunteers. We arrive at camp around noon Thursday, October 12th to set up camp, prep for dinner, and get ready for the seminars in the evening. Opening day is Friday morning and we will cook all weekend then clean up and pack up after breakfast on Sunday morning. Thank you for volunteering for this rewarding event!
